Three brothers, due to be split up by the courts after the death of their parents, run off to the Ozarks to begin a new life together in an abandoned farmhouse.
The story of three Yankee brothers, the Bucks, who are orphaned and about to become a part of the foster care system. But scheming Jake Buck invents fake relatives in the backwoods of Arkansas and manages to get him and his siblings placed in their “aunt and uncle’s” custody. However, once the boys arrive on the family farm they have to keep up their ruse. But somebody is stealing the local dogs and the newcomer Bucks are instantly suspected.
